Isaac Walukagga is a seasoned advocate and Partner in the Firm’s Litigation team, specializing in commercial fraud, debt recovery, tax litigation and advisory, corporate compliance, and complex dispute resolution.
With nearly two decades of experience, Isaac has represented leading corporations, banks, and multinationals before the High Court, Tax Appeals Tribunal, and Supreme Court of Uganda, handling matters that often involve high-value cross-border transactions and regulatory complexities.
His professional journey includes secondments at prestigious legal institutions in the United Kingdom — Stephenson Harwood LLP (London), 3 Verulam Buildings, and Essex Court Chambers — where he gained valuable mentorship in managing sophisticated international commercial disputes.
Beyond practice, Isaac is a former Senior Lecturer at the Law Development Centre, Uganda’s Bar School, where he taught Civil Proceedings and Commercial Transactions, mentoring the next generation of legal professionals.
Isaac holds an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (UK) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Tax Practice from the East African School of Taxation, among other qualifications.
